Creating an Email Profile

Before you begin

Note: You can only create an email profile during the process of creating an alert or TEM rule or scheduling an automatic report.

About this task

To create an email profile:


  1. Begin setting up an alert rule, a telecom expense management rule, or a scheduled report.
  2. When you arrive at the email notification section of the wizard, enable Send Email Notification.
  3. Click Email Profiles to open the Manage Email Profiles dialog box.
  4. Click New to open the Create Notification Profile wizard.
  5. Follow the instructions of the Create Notification Profile wizard.
  6. Review your settings and send a test email if desired.
  7. Finish creating your alert rule or scheduled report.


You can create multiple email profiles and associate them to different alert rules or scheduled reports as necessary .
