In the current climate, there's plenty of grief to go around. My company is still paying rent all over the world for space we can't use.
But we're actually lucky. We were already a tech company. Retailers probably never imagined they'd need to be one too, clinging to a digital lifeline that they don't entirely understand. Big, multi-channel retailers probably have some of the pieces in place — but even the best never envisioned being quite this reliant on technology. Companies can figure this out on their own, but I hope my advice might help, no matter how big or small your retail company.
