Seiko Epson Corporation, InterPia, POL, SATO Holdings and Soliton Systems Join SOTI To Harness Next Generation of Connected Technologies to Transform Business

Mississauga, Canada and Tokyo – November 30, 2016 —SOTI Inc. today announced several high-profile deals with new relationships based in Japan. Epson, InterPia, POL, SATO Holdings and Soliton Systems are leveraging SOTI MobiControl  to manage connected devices throughout their respective organizations, and offer deep mobility management functionality to joint customers. Additionally, Canadian headquartered company, SOTI, teamed up leaders from the province of Ontario, including The Premier of Ontario, Kathleen Wynne; Honourable Minister of Economic Development and Growth, and Brad Duguid; to further promote Ontario-Japan trade relationships which totaled more than $11 billion in 2015. Today’s announcement follows SOTI’s recent commitment to expanding its footprint in the JAPAC region, including a state-of-the-art facility which houses SOTI’s expanding R&D, sales and technical support for the region. SOTI’s record growth and expansion in the JAPAC region is reflected in the region’s growing demand for connected technologies.

  • Epson will deploy SOTI MobiControl for secure management of MOVERIO Pro, its next generation, Android-based Smart Eyewear and Smart Headsets for enterprise use. Bringing gesture based visual communication to the manufacturing, field services, construction and tourism industries, the MOVERIO Pro is designed to change how an organization’s employees and customers experience the world around them.   • Penetrate of Limits (POL), has been instrumental in pioneering strategic mobility management within the enterprise space in Japan through their deep partnership with SOTI, and was recently recognized for their burgeoning success as “SOTI Global Distributor of the Year.”
  • SATO Holdings, a pioneer and leader in Auto Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) and track and trace technologies will partner with SOTI for remote management of its world-class IoT-enabled printers.
  • Soliton Systems, specialists in mobile encoding and IT security, have identified the increased interest in and need for strategic mobility solutions among Japanese organizations and is growing its partnership with SOTI to address new business challenges around scale, interoperability, security and management of devices and endpoints.
