Device User Information

Certain features of MobiControl require that a device is integrated with LDAP authentication. If your devices were not initially enrolled with LDAP authentication, you can manually associate a device with an LDAP user.

Note:

This can only be configured on a per device level, and not on multiple devices at the same time.

Accessing the Device User Information Panel

1. Find your device on the Device tab list.
2. Double-click any of the following columns:
   • User Name
   • Email Address
   • Full Name

   If none of those columns are not currently visible, click any of the column titles, click the dropdown arrow, and then Columns to bring up the list of all possible columns.

3. Select your LDAP connection from the Search dropdown
4. Enter the user you want to associate with the device.
5. Click Search or select the user from the field's dropdown to automatically populate the field.
6. Review the automatically populated information.
7. Click OK.
8. [Optional]: You can also import a list of device user information and associate the list to the device in bulk. Click Import Device User and upload your company directory.
