As a best practice, SOTI recommends that all production MobiControl deployments first undergo a round of user acceptance testing in a separate environment.
If you are upgrading from MobiControl version 11 or earlier, you must ensure that any Windows Mobile device configurations have SSL security turned on before you upgrade to version 12.
The supported upgrade path for MobiControl depends on the version you are upgrading from, as shown in the following sections.
Use the following path if you are upgrading from MobiControl version 11.0.3 or older.
